What we’re looking for

The president leads the team and gives the annual direction for JES. It is his/her job to motivate the team and bring in new ideas for the national movement. The student taking on this role must be ready to step out of his/her comfort zone and enjoy challenges. We’re looking for someone that brings adaptability, flexibility, and self-implication. An extensive experience within the JE movement is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all ExBo activities and ensure that communication within the ExBo is maintained.
• Define the global strategy (national & international), as well as the annual objectives.
• Coordinate the establishment of annual objectives and activity schedules.
• Establishment of the annual budget for JES, in collaboration with the Board.
• Develop the movement, in terms of growth, expansion, and recognition.
• Represent the movement to public and private institutions
• Hold and conduct weekly board meetings.
• Organization of the General Assemblies (at least 1/year).
• Attend both the National Meeting Opening and National Meeting Closing
• Attend events organized each year by the different JEs

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within the JE movement.
• English spoken fluently
• Public speaking
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to bring creative and innovative ideas to life
• Organized and self-sufficient
• A resilient personality
• Keen to conduct negotiations
